P.H. Fox family photograph collection [graphic], ca. 1890's-1930's.

Collection includes images from Juneau and Douglas ca. late 1800's through the 1930's, including people, government and social activities and scenics by various photographers, commercial and unidentified. A 1929 Camp Fire Girls' certificate, 1928 Douglas High School diploma and an image of Will Rogers and Wiley Post are included in the collection.

The youngest of eight children, William Penn Adair Rogers was born on November 4, 1879 at Rogers Ranch in Oologah, Indian Territory (what is now Oklahoma). His parents, Clement Vann Rogers and Mary Schrimsher, were partly of Cherokee descent. While growing up on the family ranch, Will worked with cattle and learned to ride and lasso from a young age.
